Pattern Updates

Please check this page if you have a concern or question about a pattern. Although I try my best to ensure every pattern is correct, this is the page where I prove I am human! 

After Midnight pattern (Version 1. Version 2 has been corrected)

The focus print product number for the light version is X7798-597S-December-Silver (not X7798-28S-Midnight Silver).

The border fabric product number for both versions should be X7800-213-Onyx-Silver (not X7800-231-Onyx-Silver).

The cutting instructions for the black print in the dark version and the white print in the light version have been revised. You need to cut a a total of (48) 2" squares for the star blocks. (That instruction was omitted from the pattern). The new additional cutting is in bold. You should have enough fabric to cut the additional squares. The instructions call for a 2-1/2" square in the star block corners; it should be a 2" square in the corners, which are the squares you need to cut. 

For the dark version, from the black print, cut:
• (2) 4 ¼" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 4 ¼" squares and (28) 2" squares for star blocks.
• (4) 2 ½" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2 ½" x 6 ½" rectangles for star blocks.
• (3) 10 ½" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 4 ½" x 10 ½" rectangles for star blocks.
• (1) 2" x WOF strip. Sub-cut (20) 2" squares for star blocks.

For the light version, from the white print, cut:

• (2) 4 ¼" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (12) 4 ¼" squares and (28) 2" squares for star blocks.
• (4) 2 ½" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2 ½" x 6 ½" rectangles for star blocks.
• (3) 10 ½" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 4 ½" x 10 ½" rectangles for star blocks.
• (8) 1 ½" x WOF strips for second inner border.
• (1) 2" x WOF strip. Sub-cut (20) 2" squares for star blocks.

Aranyani pattern (Version 1. Version 2 has been corrected)

Cutting for the cornerstones in the green twin size should be (6) 2" squares, not (6) 1-1/2" squares. The blue queen size cornerstones are correct. Here is the correct text:

From the green tonal fabric, cut:
(8) 3 ½" x WOF strips. Sub-cut (48) 6 ½" x 3 ½" rectangles for "B" blocks.
(9) 2 ½" x WOF strips for binding. Cut a total of (6) 2" squares from the binding strips for cornerstones.

 

Blended Tea pattern (Version 1. Version 2 has been corrected)

In the Nine-Patch Chart, Block P should be 5495-448 Blossom (not 5494-448 Blossom) and Block S should be 885-466 Fauna (not 885-446 Fauna). 

 

Six Trix pattern (Version 1. Version 2 has been corrected)

In the cutting directions for the background fabric, the (72) 1-1/2" x 8-1/2" rectangles and the (72) 1-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles are for blocks frames for both the x-blocks and circle blocks (not just the x-blocks).

Under the "Make the square blocks section" there is extra text. This text should be deleted:

Sew a 1 ½" x 6 ½" background rectangle to both sides of the block. Press seams toward the background rectangles. 

Sew a 1 ½" x 8 ½" rectangle to the top and bottom of the unit. The block should measure 8 ½" square, including seam allowances.  Repeat to make a total of (18) circle blocks. 

 

Star Struck pattern (Version 1. Version 2 has been corrected)

Cutting for the trees focus print should be length of fabric strips, not width of fabric strips. The size of the sub-cut rectangles remains the same. Here is the correct text:

From the trees print, cut:

(4) 9 ½" x LOF (length of fabric) strips. Sub-cut: 
(2) 9 ½" x 24 ½" rectangles and
(2) 9 ½" x 39 ½" rectangles
